The Role
- To strategically manage a portfolio of National Retail accounts within the DIY and related sectors
- Full responsibility for Joint Business Planning incorporating Range Reviews, Promotional Strategies, NPD, Price Negotiations etc
- To manage and develop relationships at a senior level - Buying Director, Senior Buyer etc
- To strategically grow sales within the National Retail accounts in line with company objectives and targets
- Hybrid role with a good mix of office, home & field based
The Person
- A proven and successful National Account Manager or Senior NAM
- Open on category experience. Ideally from a related category but our client will genuinely consider strong NAMs or Senior NAMs from any category
- Proven track record of consistently growing National Retail accounts at a senior level
- Very strong relationship builder - comfortable dealing with customers at a strategic/senior level
- Hands on approach. Comfortable working in an SME culture and being involved in all aspects of the business. Is comfortable wearing multiple hats, problem solving and "getting the job done"
- Ideally living Midlands region
