THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner LATAM to support the commercial organization across the region and act as a key financial partner in business growth and decision-making.

This is a regional role with exposure to multiple LATAM markets, working closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Operations and other business stakeholders. The position will play a critical role in connecting financial strategy with commercial objectives, providing insights that support profitable and sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate will combine strong financial expertise with a genuine business mindset, the ability to challenge commercial decisions constructively, and the agility to operate in a dynamic, multicultural environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with LATAM commercial leadership to analyze business performance and identify opportunities to improve sales, profitability and operating results.

• Prepare and evaluate business cases for customer transactions, new business opportunities and strategic initiatives, providing financial recommendations to support decision-making.

• Analyze sales, margins, profitability, pricing and operating expenses, identifying risks and opportunities and recommending proactive actions.

• Lead and coordinate budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes across LATAM, including variance analysis and management reporting.

• Develop financial models and projections for new business opportunities, customer solutions, investments and strategic projects.

• Support the commercial organization in evaluating customer deals, pricing strategies and profitability, challenging assumptions when necessary to ensure sustainable growth.

• Prepare weekly sales forecasts and monthly reports and dashboards to provide clear visibility into LATAM commercial performance.

• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance teams across different LATAM countries, acting as a bridge between regional and global finance organizations.

• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, pricing competitiveness and financial efficiency across the region.

• Support Sales and commercial teams with financial tools, analysis and training to strengthen business decision-making.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field. Accounting background is a plus.

Experience

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally with 5–8 years in Commercial Finance, FP&A or Business Partnering roles.

• Experience working with commercial teams in a regional or multinational environment.

• Strong understanding of pricing, profitability, forecasting and financial modeling.

• Experience working across LATAM or other emerging markets is highly valued.

Technical Skills

• Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities.

• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and P&L analysis.

• Experience with pricing and profitability analysis.

• Ability to translate financial and market data into actionable business recommendations.

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI.

• Experience with ERP and financial systems, preferably SAP.

Business & Leadership Skills

• Strong commercial mindset and understanding of business growth drivers.

• Ability to influence decisions and challenge commercial strategies through data and financial insights.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders across different countries and cultures.

Languages

• Advanced English is required.

• Spanish and/or Portuguese are highly valued for regional collaboration.


Location & Travel

The position will be based in one of Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies' LATAM locations, with a regional scope covering key markets across Latin America. Availability to travel within the region as required.
