HR Manager - Antrim

Metal Technology is one of the UK and Irelands leading designers and suppliers of bespoke, innovative architectural aluminium window, door, and curtain wall systems. The company operates daily dispatches to the UK and Ireland from its three-acre manufacturing and distribution headquarters in Antrim. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, interviews, and induction process.
  • Act as the main point of contact for employee queries and concerns
  • Handle disciplinary procedures, grievances, and conflict resolution
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Implement and manage performance appraisal systems and support managers with employee evaluations.
  • Monitor and address performance issues
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
  • Align HR initiatives with business objectives
  • Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to senior management
  • Lead organisational change and improvement initiatives

Criteria

Essential:

  • 3rd level Qualification in HR/Business related discipline
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • A minimum of 3 years generalist experience in a HR Manager role.
  • Experience in both Strategic and Operational HR
  • Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of UK & Northern Ireland employment law

Desirable:

  • CIPD membership (or working towards) or equivalent HR qualification.
  • Learning & Development Practices
  • Knowledge of culture Improvement Initiatives
  • Knowledge of Workflow Infinity software

Working hours and salary

Monday Friday 8:30am 1pm

Salary - £25,000 - £28,000 (based on experience)
