Advanced Nurse Practitioner (APRN) - Outpatient Cardiology
Location: New Haven, CT
Job Type: Full-Time
Setting: Outpatient Clinic | In-Person with Some Telemedicine
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join a growing outpatient cardiology practice in New Haven. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who is passionate about cardiovascular care, patient wellness, and professional growth, with opportunities to take on clinical and leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and order appropriate diagnostic testing, including echocardiograms, carotid ultrasounds, stress tests, and Holter monitors.

• Develop individualized treatment and care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

• Supervise and manage stress-testing protocols.

• Educate patients on cardiovascular health, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred.

• Current Connecticut APRN/NP certification and licensure.

• 3+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience.

• Previous cardiology experience preferred.

• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in an outpatient clinical environment.
