Substitute Teacher

*Are you currently interested in being a daily substitute teacher?*

We are currently seeking qualified daily substitute teachers for charter and private schools in Kissimmee, FL. This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive school setting and join a passionate team of educators. A daily substitute teacher is responsible for providing classroom coverage for a teacher who is absent for a short period of time. The daily substitute teacher works the regular hours of the absent classroom teacher during their absence.

*The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:*

* Effective classroom management and organization skills for effective instruction * Effective communication with parents and school counselors on student progress * Ability to use tact, discretion, and confidentiality with student and school information. * Ability to effectively interact with a diverse community of learners, educators, and families.

*Requirements:*

* High School Diploma or equivalent (60+ credits of completed college coursework or Associates Degree preferred) * At least 18 years old (21+ years old preferred) * At least 1 year working with children in an educational setting. * Must be ready to accept jobs between 6am-6.30am as this is when schools are looking to book subs. * Effective instructional delivery techniques and excellent communication skills * Takes initiative and is resourceful in problem-solving * Positive interpersonal skills and can work well on a team

*Pay:*

$110 - $150 per day
