We are looking for experienced Soil Technicians who know the civil construction and materials testing industry and can hit the ground running.
The offer is deliberately straightforward: $50/hour flat rate for experienced technicians who can work independently, with super paid in addition.

This is a hands-on, predominantly field-based role working across civil, infrastructure and development projects throughout Toowoomba, SEQ and regional Queensland.
You'll be firmly embedded in the construction QA and compliance side of the civil industry, undertaking field testing, Level 1 inspections and geotechnical work that directly supports construction outcomes.
We're looking for experienced operators who can be trusted to work independently, communicate professionally on site and deliver testing and inspections to the standard our clients expect.
The role will involve:
Level 1 inspections and field testing across civil and infrastructure projects
Construction quality assurance and compliance testing
Geotechnical inspections and field investigations
Direct communication with clients, supervisors and project teams
Laboratory testing and reporting support where required
You'll work across:
Residential subdivisions
Major infrastructure projects
Roadworks and transport projects
Local government projects
Geotechnical investigations

About You
This isn't an entry-level position.
We're looking for people with real experience in construction materials testing and the civil construction industry who understand the importance of accurate testing, QA and compliance.
You'll ideally have:
Experience working independently on civil construction sites
Nuclear Density Gauge Licence
Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and/or DTMR specifications
Construction QA and compliance experience
Strong communication and problem solving skills
A professional and reliable attitude
The ability to take ownership of your work
Highly regarded:
Level 1 inspection and testing experience
Certificate III or higher in Laboratory Skills
Signatory experience
Experience across subdivisions, roadworks or major civil projects
You must also:
Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence
Hold a Construction White Card
Have full Australian working rights
Be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
