Job Description
TYRE FITTER / MONAFLEX VULCANISING TECHNICIAN
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tyre technician who wants a varied role combining workshop work, onsite servicing, fleet management, breakdown work and professional tyre repairs. You will work from a modern, purpose-built workshop as well as servicing customers throughout South West Victoria. Participation in rostered on-call service is required, with additional payment for after-hours work.
Saturday morning work is required.
Key responsibilities
- Truck, agricultural and OTR tyre fitting
- Onsite farm and fleet servicing
- Fleet inspections and tyre management
- Monitoring tyre pressures, wear and condition
- Identifying maintenance and replacement requirements
- Tyre repairs and wheel balancing
- Breakdown and after-hours callouts
- Building relationships with transport, fleet and agricultural customers
- Inspecting and assessing damaged tyres for repair
- Carrying out repairs using Monaflex Monarch Tyre Repair Systems
About you
- Previous tyre fitting or professional tyre repair experience
- Strong mechanical and practical ability
- Excellent attention to detail
