Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, full-time Warehouse Assistant to join our Operations team.

This is a hands-on support role working with and reporting to our Warehouse Manager. It would suit someone who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail and enjoys keeping things clean, safe and organised.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Receiving incoming stock and checking deliveries against purchase orders
  • Promptly reporting damaged goods, shortages and other discrepancies
  • Picking and packing orders accurately
  • Assisting with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
  • Receiving and dispatching goods with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Maintaining the correct storage and organisation of goods
  • Monitoring packing supplies, including boxes, labels and packing tape
  • Helping ensure packing, cleaning and safety equipment remains in good condition
  • Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, trolleys and forklifts, as required
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and compliant with safety procedures
  • Following safe manual-handling practices
  • Supporting the Warehouse Manager and following instructions from supervisors and managers
  • Contributing positively to the team and suggesting improvements where appropriate

You must have:

  • Year 12 or an equivalent level of education
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
  • A basic understanding of warehouse safety and manual-handling practices
  • The physical fitness required to safely lift and move moderate loads
  • Reliability, punctuality and a willingness to learn
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or similar environment is desirable but not essential.

To Be Considered, You Must Have (or Be Willing to Obtain)

  • An Australian Police Check
  • The applicable COVID-19 vaccination evidence
  • A pre-employment medical checklist completed by a general practitioner
  • Required online training modules within the first four weeks of employment
