About the RoleWe are currently seeking a reliable and highly organised Allied Health Receptionist to join our allied health clinic in Bundoora. This is a part-time, office-based position that plays a key role in supporting our clinicians and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic. This opportunity is well-suited to someone who enjoys working in a healthcare environment, takes pride in delivering high-quality administrative support, and values providing a positive and professional experience for clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide front desk reception support, including welcoming clients and managing enquiries
- Schedule and coordinate appointments using practice management software
- Manage phone calls, emails, and general correspondence in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in line with privacy and confidentiality requirements
- Process payments, invoices, and Medicare/private health claims
- Provide administrative support to clinicians, including coordination and documentation tasks
- Monitor and maintain office supplies and general administrative systems
- Ensure the clinic environment remains welcoming, organised, and professional at all times
You are a proactive and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in your work and enjoys being part of a supportive team environment. You bring a calm, professional presence and are confident managing a variety of administrative tasks.
You will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in an administrative or reception role (healthcare experience highly regarded)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- A professional, friendly, and empathetic approach to client interactions
