PR, Content & Events Assistant
Katie Bard
Job Description
This is a role for someone who takes writing seriously and has a flair for writing about current affairs and academic pieces.
We are partnering with a highly regarded global organisation operating. They are now looking to appoint a PR Content & Events Assistant who can contribute to that voice not through volume, but through clarity of thinking, quality of writing and strength of positioning.
This is a writing role with real visibility. You will play a key part in shaping how the organisation presents itself across industry media, owned channels and events. The position is spread across written content alongside exposure to PR, campaigns and events.
You will be responsible for producing high-quality written materials including press releases, articles, newsletters and opinion-led content. Alongside this, you will support wider campaign and PR activity, identifying opportunities for commentary, contributing to media engagement, and helping to position the organisation within key industry conversations. You will also play a role in supporting events and roundtables, ensuring content and messaging are aligned and commercially relevant.
- Applicants must have B2B Content writing experience - Press Articles, liaising with Journalists
- You will have experience of writing with structure, clarity and intent and someone who understands how to shape a narrative, not just produce content.
- You should be able to take a topic, identify what matters, and communicate it in a way that is both engaging and credible.
- A natural interest in current affairs, policy will be important, as will the ability to quickly understand new subject areas and translate them into meaningful content.
- You will be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, drawing out insight and refining it into clear external messaging.
