Senior Web UI Developer

6-Month Rolling Contract | Dublin (Hybrid) | Global Financial Services Client

We're partnering with a leading global financial institution to hire a Senior Web UI Developer for a long-term contract opportunity within a high-profile Risk Technology team. This is a chance to build cutting-edge user interfaces that support critical risk management functions across a global banking environment.

You'll work at the intersection of technology and business, designing intuitive, high-performance web applications that help users navigate complex workflows and make informed decisions. The role offers significant exposure to stakeholders across the business and the opportunity to influence the user experience of business-critical platforms used at scale.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and developing modern web-based UI solutions for complex risk and trading environments
• Partnering closely with business users, analysts and technology teams to deliver exceptional user experiences
• Translating business requirements into intuitive, responsive and scalable front-end applications
• Driving UI best practices across design, development, testing and performance optimisation
• Building reusable components and contributing to the evolution of the front-end architecture
• Working within an Agile delivery environment alongside globally distributed teams

What We're Looking For

• Strong commercial experience as a Front-End or UI Developer in enterprise environments
• Advanced expertise with Angular (Angular 2+)
• Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Proven experience building responsive, mobile-friendly user interfaces
• Excellent understanding of UX principles and modern UI design
• Experience with SASS/LESS and contemporary front-end tooling
• Strong focus on code quality, testing and performance optimisation
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with business stakeholders

Desirable Experience

• Banking or financial services experience
• Exposure to Risk, Markets or Trading technology environments
• Experience with Node.js, Webpack, Karma and front-end unit/integration testing
• Experience working within Agile development teams
