Job Description
We are seeking a commercially minded, highly organised Manager to work in partnership with the owners of a long-established, successful business with an outstanding reputation, loyal client base and exciting plans for future growth.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant or Retail Manager who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on operational management.
As the owners' trusted partner, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the business, support commercial decision-making, lead the team, and identify opportunities to drive continued growth and profitability.
The Role
Working directly alongside the owners, you will:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring exceptional service and operational excellence.
- Act as the owners' trusted business partner, supporting strategic planning and business priorities.
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Oversee business performance, operational efficiency and commercial outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with staff, clients, suppliers and external partners.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase revenue and support sustainable growth.
About You
- Experience working closely with an entrepreneur, founder or business owner.
- A background as a Business Manager, Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Operations Manager or a similar role with significant operational responsibility.
- Strong commercial awareness and sound business judgement.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
