Digital & E-commerce Manager
Our client is a growing, family-run Irish business specialising in high-quality utility, garden and storage products. With two Dublin locations and a thriving e-commerce operation, the business has built a strong reputation for quality, value, customer service and product expertise.
As the business continues to grow, they are now seeking a Digital & E-commerce Manager to take ownership of their online presence and drive further digital and commercial growth. This is a hands‑on role with responsibility for the website, e-commerce performance, SEO, digital marketing, content and the overall online customer journey.
The Role
You will take ownership of the day‑to‑day management and continuous improvement of the company’s digital, website, and e‑commerce operations, ensuring the website is engaging, technically robust and commercially effective.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the company website and e‑commerce platform, ensuring products, pricing, specifications, imagery and customer‑facing content are accurate, engaging and up to date.
- Build and maintain new website pages, product listings, galleries, quote forms, booking tools and other functionality designed to improve the customer journey and drive conversions.
- Manage and optimize online enquiries, quote requests and orders, working closely with Sales, Operations, Logistics and Customer Service to ensure a seamless customer experience and effective fulfillment.
- Drive digital marketing activity across SEO, Google Business Profile, Google Ads, Meta, social media and email marketing, including the development of promotional and seasonal campaigns.
- Create and manage website, product, blog, FAQ and promotional content, ensuring strong copy, imagery and consistent presentation across digital channels.
- Monitor website and e‑commerce performance using Google Analytics, Search Console and other tools, reporting on traffic, leads, conversions and customer behaviour and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Identify and resolve technical, UX and content issues, including broken links, website performance and third‑party integrations, while supporting ongoing website development.
- Work closely with purchasing, inventory, retail showroom and installation teams to ensure online demand, stock levels, promotions and product information remain aligned.
- Coordinate with external developers, photographers, designers and other suppliers where required.
- Use customer feedback, market trends and performance data to continuously improve the online experience and identify new opportunities for digital and commercial growth.
- Take ownership of digital projects and priorities, making informed decisions and adapting quickly within a growing, entrepreneurial business.
What You'll Need
- Essential requirement: 3+ years' experience in e‑commerce or website management, with strong hands‑on responsibility for an online platform.
- Broad digital marketing experience across areas such as SEO, Google Ads, Meta, email marketing, social media and digital campaigns.
- Strong experience with WordPress, Shopify or a similar CMS.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with web development experience highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Experience managing product content, e‑commerce functionality and online customer journeys.
- Experience with digital advertising, email marketing and social media platforms.
- Commercially minded, analytical and comfortable using data to drive decisions.
- A proactive, problem‑solving approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
- Full driving licence and access to your own car is preferred.
