Key Responsibilities:

• Execute high-end beauty, fashion, editorial and lifestyle retouching to demanding client and brand standards.
• Perform complex skin, hair, fabric, product and environmental retouching while preserving realistic texture and detail.
• Complete advanced masking, clipping, compositing, cleanup, color correction and image finishing.
• Work non-destructively and maintain organized, production-ready Photoshop files and layers.
• Interpret editorial direction and visual references accurately and translate them into finished imagery.
• Prepare images to required print, color, resolution and delivery specifications.
• Handle complex and press-critical work within compressed turnaround requirements.
• Review own work rigorously before submission and respond accurately to feedback and revisions.
• Collaborate with DIS and workflow managers when requirements, priorities or technical issues are unclear.
• Support QA by resolving technical or visual issues quickly and documenting recurring problems.
• Mentor and guide imaging/masking specialists on advanced techniques, workflow and quality standards.
• Contribute to calibration, SOP improvements, workflow optimization and responsible adoption of AI-assisted tools.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced Adobe Photoshop and professional retouching workflow.
• High-end beauty retouching: skin, texture, hair, eyes, makeup, wardrobe and fine detail.
• Advanced masking, clipping paths, selections and edge refinement.
• Complex compositing and image reconstruction.
• Color correction, tonal control and print-aware image preparation.
• Layer management, non-destructive editing and production file hygiene.
• Understanding of RGB/CMYK workflows, resolution, sharpening and output requirements.
• Ability to work from visual references, annotations and detailed editorial instructions.
• Awareness of AI-assisted retouching and imaging tools, with judgment about where human control is required.

Preferred Profile:

• Portfolio demonstrating high-end beauty, fashion, editorial or lifestyle retouching.
• Experience supporting magazines, publishing houses, premium brands, agencies or similar visual-production environments.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume production environment with seasonal peaks.
• Strong visual judgment combined with technical discipline.
• Collaborative, dependable and comfortable mentoring other artists.

Communication, Team & Organizational Skills:

• Good communication and ability to understand creative and technical requirements.
• Works well with DIS, workflow, QA and production teams.
• Good time management and ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Organized and detail-oriented, especially with high-volume work and revisions.
