The role supports the Client Director in leading strategic client partnerships and delivering integrated media solutions that drive business growth and marketing effectiveness. This role oversees a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring excellence in media planning and campaign delivery, operational efficiency, and commercial performance. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this role fosters collaboration, leads high-performing account teams, and delivers innovative, data-driven media solutions that create value for clients and Dentsu.

Key responsibilities:

\n

• Support the Client Director in developing and delivering strategic, insight-led media solutions that align with client business objectives and marketing goals.
\n
• Lead the day-to-day management of a portfolio of media accounts, ensuring exceptional client service, proactive communication, and strong relationship management.
\n
• Collaborate across Dentsu's integrated capabilities, including Media Strategy, Investment, Performance Marketing, Analytics, Creative, and CXM teams, to deliver connected and effective client solutions.
\n
• Oversee the planning and execution of integrated media campaigns, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with agreed objectives and quality standards.
\n
• Drive collaboration across internal teams, external media partners, and clients to ensure seamless campaign execution and operational excellence.
\n
• Review media plans, campaign performance, and delivery models to identify opportunities for optimization, innovation, improved efficiencies, and enhanced commercial outcomes.
\n
• Lead and mentor Account Management teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and client-centricity.
\n
• Ensure effective project governance by managing timelines, budgets, resource allocation, risks, and campaign deliverables across multiple client engagements.
\n
• Provide clients with accurate media plans, campaign updates, performance reviews, and strategic recommendations based on data, market insights, and business objectives.
\n
• Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships by introducing new media capabilities, digital solutions, and integrated services across Dentsu's portfolio.
\n
• Monitor account financial performance, ensuring effective scope management, revenue growth, profitability, and resource utilization.
\n
• Champion innovation and best practices by leveraging market trends, audience insights, technology, and emerging media solutions to deliver measurable business impact.

Experience & Qualifications

\n

\n
• 7 to 9 years of experience in Media Account Management, Media Planning, Client Leadership, or Integrated Marketing within a media agency or integrated communications environment.
\n
• Proven experience managing large client portfolios and delivering integrated offline and digital media campaigns.
\n
• Strong understanding of media strategy, planning, buying, performance marketing, measurement, and campaign optimization.
\n
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing senior client relationships.
\n
• Demonstrated commercial acumen with experience managing account profitability, forecasting, and resource planning.
\n
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
