MR Truck Driver – Delivery

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced MR Truck Driver to carry out delivery operations safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, transporting and delivering goods to customers while providing professional customer service and maintaining the vehicle in good condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate an MR-class truck for daily deliveries.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Complete deliveries to customers, businesses and other designated locations.
• Check delivery quantities and paperwork against orders.
• Obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery.
• Conduct pre-start and post-trip vehicle safety checks.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Follow all road, transport, workplace health and safety requirements.
• Report vehicle defects, incidents, delays or damaged goods promptly.
• Maintain the truck in a clean and presentable condition.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers.
• Follow scheduled delivery routes and timeframes.
• Assist with general warehouse/loading duties when required.

Essential Requirements

• Current MR (Medium Rigid) Australian driver's licence.
• Safe driving record.
• Previous truck driving or delivery experience preferred.
• Physically capable of loading and unloading goods.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Working Conditions

• Full-time 38hr work weeks
• Early starts required.
• Regular loading and unloading of goods.
• Local and/or metropolitan delivery routes.
• Manual handling of 10-15kg cartons
