You’ll work across a varied mix of residential, commercial and industrial sites, carrying out installations, servicing, fault-finding and repairs. No two days will be exactly the same - and you’ll have the opportunity to use your technical skills, solve real problems and deliver work you’re proud to put your name to.

What you’ll be doing
In this hands-on role, you will:
- Install, maintain and repair air conditioning and heat pump systems
- Work across residential, commercial and industrial sites
- Diagnose HVAC faults using gauges, thermometers and other diagnostic tools
- Read and interpret mechanical, electrical and refrigeration schematics
- Complete work safely, neatly and in line with Australian standards
- Explain faults, recommended solutions and service costs clearly to customers
- Identify out-of-scope work requiring a variation or quotation
- Collaborate with other technicians and trades on project installations
- Maintain accurate job records, timesheets and photo documentation using field-based software
- Organise job-specific materials through preferred suppliers
- Support, coach and supervise air conditioning apprentices
- Represent the business professionally through your workmanship, communication and site conduct
What you’ll bring
We’d like to hear from you if you have:
- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
- Strong installation, servicing and fault-finding skills
- A sound understanding of refrigeration, electrical and safety standards
- Clear communication skills and a professional approach with customers
- The ability to work independently and contribute to a team
- Pride in delivering reliable, high-quality workmanship
- Confidence using digital job-management tools, or the willingness to learn
- A current Police Check and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain them
A dual air conditioning and electrical trade qualification will be highly regarded, but it isn’t essential.
Third-and fourth-year apprentices are also encouraged to apply.
