Escalation Specialist II, Maghreb from Libya (11 months contract)


Salary: €73,000 per annum


Location: Dublin


Working Model: Onsite, 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm


Our client is looking for an experienced Escalation Specialist to join a global Trust and Safety team focused on keeping online communities safe. This is an opportunity to use your Maghreb from Libya, Maghreb cultural expertise, and content moderation experience to make a real impact while working on complex, high priority cases in a fast paced technology environment.


What You'll Be Doing



  • Review and assess content accurately while meeting quality standards and service levels.

  • Apply regional, cultural and language expertise to make informed enforcement decisions.

  • Support complex content escalations and work closely with cross functional teams.

  • Identify emerging risks, trends and platform issues within the assigned market.

  • Provide guidance on language quality, translations and enforcement approaches.

  • Keep up to date with policy changes and enforcement guidelines.


What We're Looking For - Must Have



  • Around 3 years of experience in Trust and Safety, content moderation, online operations or a similar environment.

  • Libyan Arabic language skills with a strong understanding of Libyan and Maghreb culture, dialects, slang and geopolitical context.

  • Strong content moderation experience with a proven ability to make accurate decisions in high volume environments.

  • Excellent communication skills in both Maghreb from Libyan and English.

  • Ability to identify market risks and trends and support proactive enforcement decisions.

  • Experience applying complex policies with consistency and accuracy.

  • Comfortable reviewing sensitive and potentially disturbing content.


Nice to Have



  • Experience working with AI tools or AI related projects.

  • Data analysis or reporting skills.

  • Experience using content moderation or case management platforms.
