Your new company


Our client is a well-established, privately owned real estate developer, owner, and property manager with a significant presence across Metro Vancouver. They are looking to bring in a strong Building Manager to their newest rental building in Vancouver.


Your new role

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and respond to resident inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the daily upkeep of the building, grounds, common areas, and vacant suites.
  • Complete minor maintenance and repairs, including basic painting, drywall, plumbing, lighting, and lock replacements.
  • Coordinate contractors, service providers, and suite turnover activities to ensure homes are move-in ready.
  • Manage move-ins, move-outs, elevator bookings, amenities, guest suite reservations, and other resident services.
  • Support leasing efforts by conducting tours and assisting prospective residents.
  • Maintain positive tenant relationships, investigate complaints, and respond to emergencies when required.
  • Monitor parking, storage, and building rule compliance while maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with rent collection, deposits, notices, tenant correspondence, and general property administration.
  • Coordinate work orders, maintain contractor and resident records, and support maintenance and capital projects.
  • Participate in resident engagement initiatives and community events.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and residential tenancy regulations.


What you'll need to succeed

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education is considered an asset.
  • 1+ year experience as a Building Manager, Caretaker, Resident Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced residential environment.
  • Comfortable with administrative tasks, record keeping, invoice processing, and basic accounting functions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; property management software experience is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Professional, mature, and confident when dealing with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.


What you'll get in return
