AI Deployment Lead
Thomas Talent Network
Job Description
Confidential client โ a Series A company (11-50 employees) building AI voice agents for healthcare, automating appointment scheduling, inbound call handling, and patient-provider communication so clinical staff can focus on care. The company has validated strong product-market fit internationally (serving 600+ practices with 22x year-over-year growth) and is now entering the US market from its New York office. Raised a $5.5M seed round and already signing its first US logos.
Full-Time, Hybrid, New York City, NY. Experience: 3-5 years. Salary: $110,000-$180,000/yr.
Visa sponsorship: None available.
About the Role: The company is signing its first US customers and needs a founding operator to own everything that happens after the sale: implementation, deployment, customer success, and account expansion. This is a greenfield role with no existing US ops playbook, reporting directly to the CEO, and sitting at the center of the company's ability to retain and grow its early US customer base. The primary metric is net revenue retention.
The person in this seat will build the US ops function from the ground up, then grow it into a three-person team. Year-one success looks like roughly $1M in ARR deployed and in production across US accounts, with a replicable onboarding process documented and handed off.
What You'll Own:
- Own the full post-sale lifecycle for US customers: configure and deploy signed accounts into production, drive time-to-go-live, and maintain a high successful-deployment rate
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer success, support, and account management so the sales function stays focused on new business
- Drive retention and expansion, including upsell and cross-sell, against a personal upsell quota; net revenue retention is the core performance metric
- Build and document a replicable US onboarding and deployment playbook covering configurations, processes, and best practices
- Develop deep product mastery to configure and go live independently, including working with AI integrations and no-code tooling as needed
- Hire and lead a small ops team as the customer base grows, with a target of three people by year-end
Must-Have: 3-5 years of experience in a customer-facing deployment, implementation, or customer success role.
Company stage: Series A. Work type: Hybrid (New York City, NY). No visa sponsorship available.
