Role Summary:

The Visualization Lead serves as a technical leader within the Visualization team, responsible for delivering complex visualization solutions that support pursuits and conceptual design process.

This role combines advanced visualization expertise with design knowledge to create compelling visual narratives, sophisticated designs, and interactive media experiences. The provides technical guidance to junior team members, establishes production standards, drives quality assurance efforts, and serves as a trusted partner to Suffolk's U.S.-based visualization team.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced Design Visualization:

  • Lead development of complex visualization deliverables for high-profile pursuits and strategic projects.
  • Develop visual storytelling approaches that clearly communicate project strategy and differentiators.

3D Modeling, Rendering & Animation:

  • Develop and manage advanced Revit and SketchUp models used for visualization and planning efforts.
  • Create high-quality renderings, animations, fly-throughs, and presentation media using Twinmotion and other approved visualization tools.
  • Optimize visualization workflows, assets, and production methods to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Establish best practices for model organization, rendering, animation, and content development.

4D Simulation:

  • Collaborate with U.S.-based visualization staff to communicate logistics strategies, site constraints, and execution approaches.
  • Apply knowledge to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of visual planning deliverables.

Pursuit Support & Visual Storytelling:

  • Support major pursuits through development of visual narratives, logistics plans, animations, and presentation content.
  • Partner with U.S.-based visualization professionals to develop innovative visual solutions that support winning strategies.
  • Contribute to interactive media, digital pursuit experiences, and presentation materials.
  • Execute high-priority deliverables under aggressive pursuit schedules while maintaining exceptional quality.

Quality Assurance & Standards:

  • Establish and maintain visualization standards, templates, workflows, and production guidelines.
  • Conduct quality reviews of models, animations, renderings, and presentation materials.
  • Ensure consistency across deliverables, branding, graphic standards, and storytelling approaches.
  • Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and production scalability.

Mentorship & Capability Development:

  • Mentor and support Construction Visualization Specialists through coaching, training, and technical guidance.
  • Review work products and provide constructive feedback to improve quality and consistency.
  • Assist with onboarding and development of new team members.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across the visualization team.

Innovation & Technology Advancement:

  • Evaluate emerging visualization technologies, AI-assisted workflows, and production tools.
  • Support implementation of new software, automation opportunities, and process improvements.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable visualization workflows that support the growth of Suffolk Global.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness and impact of visualization deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Design, Visualization, or related discipline.
  • Experience:
  • 8-10 years of experience in construction visualization, architecture, BIM, VDC, digital delivery, design technology, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex visualization projects and supporting high-profile pursuits.
  • Experience mentoring team members or providing technical leadership.

Technical Skills:

  • Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk AEC Suite (AutoCad & Revit)
  • Expert-level proficiency in Twinmotion, Unreal Engine, Enscape.
  • Advanced proficiency in SketchUp, 3dsMax, Blender.
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications. (Photoshop, InDesign, PremierePro, AfterEffects).
  • Experience developing advanced site logistics plans, renderings, animations, and 4D simulations.

  • Experience supporting large-scale healthcare, life sciences, mission critical, infrastructure, or commercial construction projects.
  • Ability to develop Revit families
  • Understanding of mesh based assets (Blender, 3dsMax)
