About the Role:
The Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is a core member of the QE team, participating across the full development lifecycle. This role translates business and functional requirements into deliverables, designs and maintains test automation frameworks, and ensures automated tests are integrated into the continuous delivery pipeline. The Sr.

SDET develops high-quality, maintainable, and performant test code, consults on test automation strategy, and serves as a leader and coach across teams to influence quality practices and standards.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation systems and tools to be used by development and test engineers.
• Analyze code coverage using industry-standard tools (e.g., SonarQube).
• Oversee integration of automated tests into the Continuous Delivery pipeline.
• Design and author test cases for unit, functional, performance, scalability, and durability testing.
• Manage and groom automated and manual test suites for balanced coverage and fast feedback cycles.
• Work with IT partner teams to provide, create, or modify test data through repeatable, automated processes.
• Provide internal training on testing skills and tools; contribute to the Test Community of Practice to evolve testing practices and standards.
• Lead defect management and interface with external teams on test strategy and execution.
• Ensure requirements and/or user stories are testable and provide estimates for user stories and tasks.
• Coordinate with Dev and Ops regarding testing practices to ensure quality thresholds are met.
• Contribute to design and code reviews.
• Design and execute test strategies across SAP ECC and Oracle ERP platforms, ensuring end-to-end quality across integrated business processes and downstream systems.
• Partner with functional and technical teams on ERP workstreams (e.g., Order-to-Cash, Plan to Deliver, Source to Pay) to translate business process flows into robust test scenarios.
• Apply strong supply chain management fundamentals to validate flows across planning, procurement, inventory, fulfillment, and logistics, ensuring data and process integrity across modules.
• Own quality for Order Management workflows including order capture, pricing, availability, allocation, fulfillment, returns, and invoicing across SAP ECC and Oracle ERP.

What You'll Bring (Must have skills):

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 410 years of experience using two or more development languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end test automation is a must.
• Working knowledge of monitoring & observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent.
• 410 years of experience with three or more automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Appium, Sauce Labs, Rest Assured, Postman, Cucumber, Jasmine, Protractor).
• 410 years of experience with testing methodologies such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD), API Testing, Acceptance Testing, and end-to-end testing.
• 410 years of experience using issue-tracking software and Agile project management systems (JIRA).
• Proficiency with SQL (querying, joins, stored procedures); knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.) any database.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP ECC and Oracle ERP platforms, including testing across SAP ECC modules and integrations.
• Strong hands-on experience with AI/ML-driven testing including AI-assisted test generation, self-healing automation, intelligent test data creation, and leveraging LLMs and GenAI tools to accelerate QE workflows.

Nice To Have:

• Exposure to advanced AI concepts such as agentic AI frameworks, RAG-based test intelligence, model evaluation and prompt engineering, fine-tuning or building custom ML models for defect prediction, or applying MCP-style tool integrations within QE pipelines.
