As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Setting Out Engineer to join our team in Dublin. This role is critical in supporting the technical and engineering functions of site operations to ensure precise and efficient project delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in the coordination and management of all on-site engineering activities.
• Set out, level, and survey the site in accordance with project specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings and transfer design data to site operatives and subcontractors.
• Liaise with design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure works are carried out to the highest standards in line with current regulations and best practices.
• Support the Site/Project Manager in tracking progress against the programme.
• Maintain daily site records, including site diaries, checklists, and quality reports.
• Ensure adherence to health & safety procedures and assist in maintaining site safety documentation.
• Participate in site meetings and provide accurate updates on technical matters.
• Collaborate with the Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager to ensure material procurement and cost controls align with site needs.

What You’ll Bring

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years’ experience in a Setting Out Engineer role within the construction sector.
• Proficient in setting out, surveying, and use of instruments such as total stations, GPS, and AutoCAD.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure in a dynamic site environment.
• A valid Safe Pass card is essential.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with PSDP regulations and health & safety requirements on site is advantageous.
