Motion Graphics Designer (3D Product Animation)
Talent Global LLC
Job Description
Motion Graphics Designer — 3D Product Animation & Video
Part-Time (15–20 hrs/week to start) and Remote | Flexible/Async | Long-Term Contract
About the Role
Our client is a US-based marketing agency helping international DTC brands break into the US market, primarily through Meta advertising campaigns and social media content. They're looking for a motion graphics designer, skilled in After Effects, who can turn 3D product renders into polished, high-converting animated content — combining 3D product visualization, motion graphics, and video compositing (including cutting in real filmed footage) into a single finished piece.
Key Responsibilities
- Build motion graphics animations in After Effects using 3D product renders and assets (e.g., cross-section views, product detail call-outs, feature visualizations)
- Composite and edit real filmed footage (live-action clips) seamlessly into 3D/motion graphics sequences
- Apply brand guidelines precisely (color, typography, motion/easing style) across every deliverable
- Edit short-form video content (Reels/TikTok-style) for Meta advertising campaigns and organic social
- Use AI tools to support and speed up the editing process where relevant
- Work across multiple DTC brand clients simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment
- Deliver high volume, high quality content on tight agency timelines, from source file (.aep) to final exports
Requirements
- Proven experience in motion graphics/animation using Adobe After Effects — this is the core, non-negotiable skill
- Hands-on experience working with 3D product renders/assets within a motion graphics workflow (not standalone 3D modeling)
- Experience compositing and editing real video footage together with animated/rendered content
- Proven experience editing short-form video content for paid social (Meta Ads) and organic social
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment with multiple concurrent clients
- Strong portfolio demonstrating product-focused motion graphics work, ideally with a mix of 3D and live-action
Ideal Candidate
This person thinks like a motion graphics designer first — someone who can take a 3D product render and turn it into a polished, story-driven animation that builds trust and answers a viewer's questions about the product. They're just as comfortable compositing real footage into their sequences as they are animating in After Effects, and they bring precision to applying brand guidelines consistently. They're self-directed, used to juggling multiple brand accounts, and take pride in content that performs — not just looks good.
