Position Overview
The Director, Business Analytics & Insights is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving enterprise-wide analytics capabilities and transforming data into actionable business insights across sales, operations, marketing, and client engagement functions. This individual will lead the organization's analytics strategy, oversee a high-performing team of analysts, and partner with senior leaders to deliver data-driven recommendations that improve business performance, operational effectiveness, and client outcomes.
The Director will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, leveraging advanced analytics, performance measurement, and business intelligence to support strategic decision-making. This role will oversee the development of KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting solutions while driving the adoption of modern analytics tools and best practices across the organization.
Working closely with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Technology, Data Engineering, and Executive Leadership teams, the Director will champion a data-driven culture, ensure the integrity and accessibility of critical business data, and identify opportunities to optimize advisor engagement, sales performance, client retention, operational efficiency, and overall business growth.
What You Will Bring
- 10+ years of progressive experience in business analytics, business intelligence, data strategy, or insights leadership, preferably within wealth management, asset management, banking, or financial services.
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing analytics teams and delivering strategic insights to executive stakeholders.
- Strong background partnering with sales, operations, marketing, and client-facing business units to drive measurable business outcomes.
- Experience developing and managing KPI frameworks, performance scorecards, executive dashboards, and business reporting solutions.
- Demonstrated expertise leveraging analytics to improve advisor engagement, sales effectiveness, client acquisition, retention, and operational performance.
- Experience presenting complex data findings and strategic recommendations to senior executives and business leaders.
- Strong understanding of business intelligence platforms, data visualization tools, analytics solutions, and data governance best practices.
- Experience collaborating with technology, data engineering, and data management teams to improve data quality, accessibility, and reporting capabilities.
- Degree in Business, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline. Advanced degree considered an asset.
Compensation
$170,000 - $230,000 + Bonus and Benefits
