Your future role

As Project EngineeringManager, you will managethe technical contractual scope of the project ensuring its delivery according to the quality, cost, performance and scheduled commitment originally agreed and, if applicable, updated as a result of negotiated variation orders.

We’ll look to you for:

• Lead the technical delivery of projects, ensuring customer requirements and acceptance criteria are met.
• C oordinat e multi-disciplinary engineering and construction activities.
• Manage technical risks, change control, variations, and technical compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure solutionscomply withcontractual requirements, applicable regulations, and QCDP (Quality, Cost, Delivery & Performance) targets.
• Lead project engineering teams,allocatingwork,monitoringperformance, and driving engineering governance.
• Chair technical reviews and Change Control Boards (CCB), supporting design decisions and issue resolution.
• Oversee design, systems engineering, verification, validation, and safety assurance activities.
• Provide technical leadership and support to project stakeholders including sourcing, installation, testing, commissioning, and warranty teams.
• Drive continuous improvement, lessons learned, and knowledge sharing across engineering teams.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and collaboration across all project activities.

• Engineering background including project deployment full lifecycle view
• Hands-on experience on functional or hierarchical team management
• Cost and planning control experience in engineering scope
• Hands-on experience on Customer relationship in contractual situations
• Products and services knowledge on different market segments (Urban, Mainline, F&M)
• KnowledgeofWayside andETCS On-boardSignalling Principles (based on UK orEU practice)is desirable
• Membership of a recognised engineering institution (IRSE, Iet etc.) is desirable
• Flexibility to travel whenrequired
