\nScope of Role
\nCAD, powertrain integration, Fuel System
\n\nArea of Responsibility
\n- \n
- Create, update, and maintain 3D CAD models and assemblies for fuel system components using CATIA V5 / 3DEXPERIENCE \n
- Develop 2D drawings with correct GD&T, tolerances, and automotive drawing standards \n
- Work on fuel tanks, fuel lines, pumps, rails, filters, valves, brackets, and mountings \n
- Support powertrain and vehicle‑level packaging and interface integration activities \n
- Perform interference checks, clearance analysis, and mass properties validation \n
- Implement engineering changes (ECR/ECO) across design stages from KO to SOP \n
- Ensure CAD data compliance with OEM CAD standards, best practices, and naming conventions \n
- Collaborate closely with module leads, system engineers, and manufacturing teams \n
- Support DFMEA, design reviews, and prototype / vehicle build activities \n
- Interface with suppliers for CAD data exchange, quality checks, and updates \n
- Release CAD data via PLM systems in line with project milestones \n
Knowledge / Experience – 2 to 4 Years
\nEssential:
\n- \n
- Automotive domain knowledge with working experience of fuel system commodities. \n
- Support/Lead Design reviews and design changes respecting feasibility and timeline \n
- Timely CAD completion for S/T/P releases \n
- Understanding of commodity release & change management \n
- Understanding of Proto & Production BOM \n
- Excellent CATIA V5 and CATIA V6 2D/3D skills. \n
- Exposure to PLM tools such as TeamCenter. \n
- GD&T knowledge is a must. \n
- Proficiency in using MS tools such as SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. \n
Qualification:
\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or related discipline.
