Are you an experienced warehouse professional who takes pride in working safely, accurately and as part of a strong team?
MGI is looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operator to join our Nunawading warehouse. This is a varied, hands-on position covering order fulfilment, dispatch, inventory control, quality checking and general warehouse operations.
We are looking for someone who can confidently perform the operational requirements of the role while also demonstrating initiative, accountability and a willingness to support others. For the right person, there will be opportunities to broaden their responsibilities and develop their leadership capability over time and become a trusted support to the Operations Manager and Warehouse Coordinator.

About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play an important role in the accurate and efficient movement of products through our warehouse.
Your responsibilities will include picking and packing customer orders, dispatch, forklift operation, stock control, quality checking and general warehouse activities. You may also assist with basic product assembly, preparation and repairs.
As you build your knowledge of MGI’s warehouse operations, you will also have opportunities to take greater ownership, contribute ideas and support the team with daily priorities. This would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on but is also interested in developing broader operational and leadership skills for the future.
The position remains grounded in the core warehouse responsibilities of safety, accuracy, productivity, quality and positive team contribution.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Accurately pick, pack and dispatch customer orders
- Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to process orders and stock movements
- Review delivery manifests and prepare orders for scheduled transport
- Safely load and unload freight vehicles, containers and pallets
- Operate a reach forklift to move, store and retrieve stock
- Conduct product quality inspections before dispatch
- Identify and report product discrepancies, faults or quality concerns
- Assist with stock counts and inventory control activities
- Complete basic product assembly and preparation tasks
- Assist with product servicing or repairs when required
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse and wider operations teams
- Help maintain consistent safety, quality and productivity standards
- Contribute ideas and support improvements to warehouse processes
- Provide practical support to teammates and assist with shared priorities
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution or logistics environment
- A current Australian Forklift License
- Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems
- Confidence using hand tools and a practical, mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- The ability to safely undertake manual handling tasks, including lifting up to 20kg
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to follow procedures and work instructions
- A reliable, accountable and solutions-focused approach
- Clear communication and a collaborative working style
- Initiative and a willingness to take ownership of tasks
- An interest in continuing to develop your operational and leadership capabilities
- Experience operating a reach forklift or working within a wholesale, distribution or manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
