Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Service and maintain large marine engines, generators, hydraulic systems, crawler cranes, and related equipment.
- Assemble, fit, and align mechanical parts, systems, and subassemblies to required specifications and tolerances.
- Test, calibrate, and adjust machines and equipment to ensure correct function, safe operation, and optimal performance.
- Ensure all maintenance, repair, and fabrication activities comply with workplace health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Tickets
- Relevant trade qualification
- Dual Trades Considered
- Forklift licence (highly desirable)
- Electrical Knowledge (High desirable)
- Elevated Work Platform
- Dogging ticket (preferred)
- Working in Confined Space
- Current White Card
Experience & Skills
- Marine industry experience (highly regarded)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Experience with crawler crane maintenance (highly desirable)
- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Adaptability and willingness to take on diverse tasks
