Operations and Client Support Officer, Commercial Cleaning

Comclean Australia is seeking to fill a newly formed Operations and Client Support Officer position. We are a well-established commercial cleaning company with 24 years in operation, based in Underwood, Queensland. This is a “Cleaner with a Difference” role, not a regular day-in, day-out cleaning position.

We are looking for someone with cleaning knowledge and experience, including carpet cleaning if possible, strong customer service skills, and a willingness to work as part of a team. This newly formed position will be busy, varied, and rewarding. No two weeks will be the same, so it is definitely not for someone who wants to coast through the day.

For the right person, it offers an exciting opportunity to grow with the division as it continues to develop.

You will report to the National Operations Manager, but the position requires someone who is flexible with work timing, adaptable in their duties, and able to work with minimal supervision. The role includes completing ad-hoc and emergency works as required, as well as doing or supervising customer works, so you will need to be comfortable being hands on. When you are not completing the work, you will be inspecting it, completing audit reports to ensure customer satisfaction, and confirming that standards are being maintained.

You will also use your customer service skills to suggest areas for improvement. Your cleaning and maintenance knowledge will help you advise clients and quote on additional service needs with the support of your team.

A company van will be provided, along with all equipment required to complete assigned tasks, uniforms, a phone, and the necessary tools. This position would suit someone who wants to transition away from full-time tools-based work into a more senior, autonomous, and customer-centric role, with a view to managing more than doing in the future. This is a full-time position with a salary, commission, and company vehicle.
