Due to continued growth, an opportunity has become available for a professional Truck Driver to join their Transport & Logistics team based on the Northern Gold Coast.

About The Role
This is a permanent, full-time, return-to-base position servicing customers throughout South East Queensland and surrounding regions. You'll be responsible for safely transporting freight to a diverse customer base while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and ensuring every delivery is completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
Working closely with the scheduling team, you'll become an important part of a business that prides itself on strong customer relationships and operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Completing local and regional deliveries and pickups.
- Safely securing and transporting a variety of freight in accordance with Chain of Responsibility requirements.
- Delivering to commercial customers, retail outlets, landscape suppliers, agricultural businesses, and distribution centres.
- Completing vehicle pre-start inspections and maintaining a clean, roadworthy truck.
- Using Electronic Work Diaries (EWD) and accurately completing delivery documentation.
- Maintaining regular communication with dispatch and customers throughout the day.
- Reporting vehicle defects, delivery issues, or delays promptly.
- Following all fatigue management, road transport, and workplace safety requirements.
- Assisting with loading and unloading where required using customer equipment.
About You
We're looking for someone who takes pride in representing their employer, values safety, and enjoys delivering excellent customer service.
To be considered, you'll ideally have:
- A current HC or MC Driver Licence (MC preferred).
- A safe driving history and strong understanding of transport compliance.
- Sound knowledge of South East Queensland road networks.
- Experience using Electronic Work Diaries or similar systems.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach with customers.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Forklift, Telehandler, or agricultural freight experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
