Delivery Truck Driver (MR)

SAYKA is a specialist supplier of site, safety and signage products for the construction industry. We are known for reliable service, strong product availability and helping our customers keep their projects moving.

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused MR Delivery Driver to join our operations team. This role involves delivering customer orders across Greater Sydney using a Fuso 6m table-top truck with HIAB and a 4.2m Fuso pantech truck.

About the role

As our MR Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely delivering customer orders from our Kurnell warehouse to construction sites, businesses and customer locations across Greater Sydney.

You will be delivering a range of site and safety products, including bulky and oversized goods, so safe loading, load restraint and professional customer service are important parts of the role. When required, you will also support the warehouse and operations team with general duties to help keep orders moving.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely deliver customer orders across Greater Sydney
• Operate a Fuso table-top truck with HIAB and a Fuso pantech truck
• Load, unload and secure products correctly
• Deliver bulky and oversized goods safely and professionally
• Complete delivery paperwork, proof of delivery and customer sign-offs
• Provide friendly and professional customer service on-site
• Follow all road, site and safety requirements
• Wear required PPE and follow customer site procedures
• Keep delivery vehicles clean, tidy and well-presented
• Report vehicle faults, damages, incidents or safety concerns promptly
• Work closely with the warehouse, customer service and sales teams
• Assist with warehouse and general operations duties when required

Skills Required

• Valid MR driver’s licence
• Valid forklift licence
• Strong driving record
• Good understanding of safe loading and load restraint
• Physically fit and able to safely lift and move bulky goods weighing 20kg or more
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Well-presented and professional
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team

Highly regarded but not essential

• Experience operating a HIAB / loader crane
• Experience delivering to construction sites
• Experience with bulky, oversized or awkward freight
