The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join an ASX listed manufacturer that continues to expand through acquisition and innovation. Reporting to the Finance & Commercial Manager, this position will play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation’s ongoing growth and commercial success.

With a broad remit, the role offers scope to partner with senior stakeholders, provide key financial insights and contribute to strategic decision-making across a key business unit within the group.

The Challenge

As a Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting month-end close activities, including accruals, P&L review and financial analysis.
• Preparing weekly financial and performance reporting across the division.
• Assisting with annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes.
• Overseeing inventory management, including weekly stocktakes and reconciliations.
• Producing costing and analysis around New Product Development
• Processing supplier and service provider invoices and assisting with D365 system queries.
• Providing financial support to site administration teams and contributing to ongoing process and systems improvements.
• Collaborating with operational and commercial stakeholders across multiple sites.

The Expertise

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:

• CA/CPA qualification (or working towards) with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a management accounting or commercial finance capacity, ideally within manufacturing, FMCG or industrial sectors.
• Strong analytical, reporting and business partnering skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and a drive to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
