Securities & Derivatives Analyst

A leading global financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Securities & Derivatives

Senior Supervisor to join their Operations team in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced securities operations professional to take ownership of a key team, provide operational leadership, and drive improvements across securities and derivatives transaction processes.

The Role:

As Senior Supervisor, you will lead and support a team responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of securities and derivatives transactions. You will act as a subject matter expert, resolving complex issues, improving processes, and ensuring strong operational controls are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, guidance and support to a team within securities operations
• Manage and resolve settlement issues, escalating complex matters where required
• Act as a subject matter expert on securities and derivatives settlement processes
• Analyse operational data to identify trends, risks and process improvement opportunities
• Prepare reports and present insights to senior stakeholders
Support the implementation of process enhancements and operational change initiatives
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
• Provide coaching and knowledge sharing to team members
• Ensure adherence to risk, control and regulatory requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience within securities operations, derivatives, trade processing or transaction services
• Strong understanding of securities and derivatives settlement processes
• Experience leading, coaching or supporting operational teams
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify improvements
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong risk and control mindset
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced financial services environment
