Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a well-established boutique accounting and advisory firm located in the St George region.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a genuine long-term career move within a smaller, highly respected firm where your contribution will be recognised and valued. Working closely with the Director, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of clients across accounting, compliance, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of business clients across a range of industries
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Preparation of financial statements and supporting workpapers
Preparation and lodgements of BAS, IAS, payroll tax, and superannuation obligations
Assist with tax compliance for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
End-to-end bookkeeping including payroll, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and cash flow management
Prepare management reports and assist clients with budgeting and financial analysis
Support process improvements and workflow management
Mentor and support junior team members where required
Skills & Experience
Previous experience within a public practice or accounting firm environment
Strong technical accounting and bookkeeping capability
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple deadlines
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Experience using Xero and advanced Excel
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred
CA or CPA qualified, or currently studying, highly regarded
