What Youll Be Doing (position summary):

The Business Systems Analyst will collaborate with the technology governance team to deliver technology governance services focused on Enterprise Patching, Enterprise Security Hardening, and Password Configuration.

How Youll Succeed (responsibilities):

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Collaborate with various technology teams on a regular basis to obtain their compliance data that will be used for compliance reporting.
• Review our compliance data for completeness and accuracy.
• Track patching, security hardening, and password compliance remediation progress with target dates by monthly reports.
• Receive, review and collate reports from multiple platforms into the executive consumable dashboard.
• Participate in Bi-weekly platform management meetings, Governance meetings, Document and publish minutes for all Governance meetings.
• Maintain appropriate artifacts to support Governance processes and audits.
• Continuously maintain our governance dashboards with overall status of non-compliance that includes assessed operational risk.
• Participate in Technology governance project work as required.
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of best practices in technology governance methodologies.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

• Collaborates with business units, Cross functional teams, Risk Management to ensure accurate and timely provisioning.
• Coordinates with compliance and risk teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As an employee of CIBC, the incumbent must comply with all applicable CIBC and Line of Business policies, standards, guidelines and controls.

JOB DIMENSIONS:

• Supports provisioning for multiple business units.
• Directly coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Responsible for timely and accurate fulfillment of access requests.
• Provides advisory and support services to ensure compliance and operational excellence

Experience: 7+ years of experience

Who You Are (skills/qualifications):

• 5+ years experience with Technology Governance
• Proficient with Microsoft Power BI
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient with ServiceNow
• Proficient in technology, governance automation, and AI integration.
• Experience with PowerShell and Power BI scripting.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in application access.
