We are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support Technology & Data leadership through Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), forecasting, capital investment planning, financial reporting, and business performance management. This role serves as a trusted finance partner, providing analytical support, financial governance, and strategic decision-making insights across a portfolio of transformation and technology initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines expertise in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, technology finance, capital investment analysis, and SOX compliance with strong business partnering and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance Business Partnering

• Act as a trusted advisor to Technology & Data leaders.
• Provide financial guidance that supports business and investment decisions.
• Partner with stakeholders across finance, technology, and operations.
• Translate financial results into actionable business recommendations.
• Drive alignment between financial objectives and transformation priorities.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A activities.
• Prepare and analyze:
• Budgets
• Forecasts
• Financial Plans
• Variance Analysis
• Financial Performance Reports
• Deliver insights that improve decision-making and resource allocation.
• Support ongoing business performance management activities.

Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR)

• Develop and support Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs).
• Evaluate technology and transformation investments.
• Perform financial analysis supporting:
• Capital Expenditures (CapEx)
• Cloud Computing Investments
• SaaS Investments
• Resource Planning
• Business Cases
• Assess project costs, benefits, and expected returns.
• Support investment approval processes and governance requirements.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Long-Range Planning

• Coordinate and maintain:
• Annual Business Plans
• Forecast Cycles
• Long-Range Financial Plans (LRFP)
• Collaborate with project teams to align forecasts with strategic initiatives.
• Update assumptions and financial projections based on business changes.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and identify financial risks and opportunities.
• Support ongoing planning activities across transformation programs.

Financial Reporting & Performance Analysis

• Prepare financial reports and dashboards for leadership teams.
• Analyze:

• Present findings clearly to business and finance stakeholders.
• Support executive reporting and strategic reviews.

Transformation Program Finance

• Provide financial oversight across transformation and technology portfolios.

• Resource Allocation
• Monitor value delivery against approved business cases.
• Ensure financial visibility across key strategic initiatives.

Financial Modeling & Tool Development

• Build and maintain models supporting:

• Value Tracking
• Budget Management
• Improve existing financial tools and reporting processes.
• Develop scalable solutions that enhance finance operations.
• Support automated reporting and analytical capabilities.

SOX Compliance & Financial Controls

• Support compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
• Maintain effective financial controls and documentation.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting processes.
• Participate in testing, audits, and control reviews.
• Partner with internal and external audit stakeholders as required.

Technical Accounting & Financial Governance

• Work closely with:
• Financial Compliance Teams
• Technical Accounting Teams
• Technology Business Partners
• Ensure financial transactions are accurately reflected in financial statements.
• Support proper treatment of:
• Capitalized Costs
• Depreciation
• Amortization
• Cloud Investments
• Assist with audit support and regulatory requirements.

Process Improvement & Innovation

• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting.
• Drive efficiency through automation and standardization.
• Improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and financial transparency.
• Support adoption of innovative finance and analytics solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.
