Project Engineer

• Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical (preferred), civil or mechanical engineering


• Good understanding of PV, Storage, and/or Wind technology, preferably solar


• Previous experience of 7+ years on renewable energy projects is required


• Minimum 2+ years as a project engineer


• Requires diversified knowledge of relevant codes, standards and engineering principles and practices required to produce safe, efficient, reliable, easy-to-operate and maintain, and cost-effective designs


• Experienced with various Microsoft and engineering software, including AutoCAD, ETAP, and/or any other power system software


• Experience/Knowledge with PV tooling software is preferred (i.e., PVSyst, PVCAse, System Advisory Model)

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders


• Strong organizational skills


• Ability to manage several projects/tasks simultaneously


• Pro-active, flexible and autonomous


• Highly motivated self-starter and good team player


• Utilize problem-solving skills to quickly address project challenges


• Experience reviewing civil, structural or electrical engineering design packages


• Desire to work in a dynamic environment alongside people with varied interest and backgrounds
