A major industry leader in North American infrastructure development is looking for an experienced finance professional to join their Calgary based team. Our client is seeking a Senior Reporting Lead to act as a primary driver of business intelligence and decision support for their regional operations. This is a critical role reporting to the FP&A Manager, focusing on maximizing market results through deep financial analysis and process improvement.

Core Responsibilities

Develop and deliver management reporting packages and financial analysis to guide executive decisions.

Manage detailed month end reporting for corporate costs and cash flow.

Oversee forecasting files and track weekly, monthly, and annual performance metrics.

Coordinate internal and external audit requirements for the region.

Liaise with the Shared Services Centre and SAP analytics teams to maintain data hierarchy and report accuracy.

Ensure all month end schedules are strictly followed while adapting reports to meet changing business needs.

Champion a culture of safety and environmental compliance within the finance department.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting is required.

A professional designation such as a CPA, CA, CMA, or CGA is highly preferred.

At least five years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.

Previous experience at a Big 4 audit firm is considered a significant asset.

Technical proficiency in IFRS and US GAAP.

Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets and experience with SAP platforms like ECC, BPC, or FC.

Ability to travel occasionally up to ten percent of the time.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple complex tasks independently.

Candidate must be willing to undergo pre employment screening including a criminal background check and medical testing.
