Job Description
I'm partnering with a highly regarded global private equity investment firm to appoint a Senior Fund Accountant to its growing Fund Operations team in Dublin. This is an in-house role, not a role in fund admin, for a fast growing manager building out it's Ireland operations.
As a Senior Fund Accountant, you'll become a trusted partner across the business, helping deliver a first-class experience for investors while supporting fund operations throughout the investment lifecycle. This is a broad role offering significant exposure to fund finance, treasury, reporting, technology and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary contact for investor queries and ongoing investor servicing.
- Partner closely with Investor Relations and Fund Finance to deliver accurate, timely communications.
- Oversee investor reporting and ensure obligations are met in accordance with fund documentation.
- Manage relationships with external fund administrators.
- Support investment closings, treasury activities and financing arrangements.
- Monitor cash positions, fund facilities and hedging activities.
- Produce management reporting and operational insights for senior leadership.
- Drive process improvements, automation and the adoption of technology, including AI, to enhance operational efficiency.
- Help strengthen data governance, controls and reporting processes.
About You:
I'm keen to speak with qualified accountants (ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) who have:
- At least 18 months to 2 years' post-qualified experience from either fund administration or another fund - this role is not open to someone making a first move out of Audit.
- A solid understanding of fund structures, capital activity and LP reporting.
- Experience managing investor communications and working with institutional investors.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive mindset with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Systems and AI savvy.
