What you need to know

Our client is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the site Quality function within a manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to manage the Quality team while working closely with production, engineering, and operational colleagues to ensure the highest standards of product quality, compliance, and process control are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, support, and develop the Quality team in day-to-day activities.
• Manage and continuously improve the site's Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations.
• Plan, coordinate, and support internal and external audits, ensuring the site remains audit-ready and that corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented.
• Manage customer complaints, non-conformances, quality investigations, and supplier quality performance, driving effective root cause analysis and resolution.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and operational teams to improve processes, reduce defects, monitor quality KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Quality Manager, Quality Engineer, or senior Quality/QA role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO 9001 requirements.
• Experience planning, conducting, and supporting internal and external audits, including CAPA management.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Strong leadership, organisational, communication, and continuous improvement skills.
