🚨 We're Hiring Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Reciprocating Compressors🚨

Experience: 6+ Yrs

Location: Hyderabad

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of high-performance multi-cylinder reciprocating compressors with integrated 75kW motors for HVAC and refrigeration applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop compressor assemblies, including crankcase, crankshaft, pistons, connecting rods, and valve plates using SolidWorks.

Create 3D CAD models, layouts, component stack-ups, and detailed manufacturing drawings.

Design pressure-containing ductile iron castings/housings for operating pressures up to 28 bar (2.8 MPa).

Develop motor cooling solutions (suction gas or water/glycol cooling systems).

Engineer advanced lubrication systems, including oil pumps, channels, filtration, and oil separation.

Support and guide FEA and CFD activities for structural integrity, fatigue, pulsation, and gas-flow optimization.

Requirements

✅Strong expertise in SolidWorks and GD&T.

✅Experience in reciprocating compressor, HVAC, refrigeration, or rotating equipment design.

✅In-depth knowledge of Ammonia (R717) refrigeration systems and safety practices.

✅Understanding of hermetic/semi-hermetic motor design, thermal management, and sealing technologies.

✅Strong knowledge of ductile iron/aluminum castings, precision machining, and valve assembly design.
