Our client is India’s first Gallium Nitride (GaN) deep-tech semiconductor product company for radio-frequency electronics and power electronics. Their vertical technology integration – from making GaN wafers (materials), using their proprietary semiconductor manufacturing processes to realize GaN components and their design – enables them to develop solutions for compact, efficient and high-power solutions across the strategic, telecom and consumer use-cases. Our client is located inside the prestigeous IISc campus, Bangalore.
HR Operations
· Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, employee documentation and exit
formalities.
· Maintain employee records, HRIS data and personnel files with accuracy and confidentiality.
· Generate HR reports, employee letters and other HR documentation as required.
Recruitment Coordination
· Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communication.
· Support pre-joining documentation
· Ensure smooth onboarding of new employees.
Attendance, Leave & HRIS Management
· Maintain employee attendance and leave records.
· Administer the HRMS and ensure employee information is updated accurately.
· Support employees with HRMS-related queries.
Employee Engagement & HR Support
· Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, celebrations and wellness activities.
· Support implementation of HR policies and employee communication.
· Act as the first point of contact for routine employee queries.
Administration
· Coordinate office administration activities including facility management, housekeeping, office
supplies and vendor coordination.
· Support travel bookings, employee ID cards, access cards and asset coordination.
· Ensure the office environment is maintained efficiently for employees and visitors.
Other Responsibilities
· Support HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
· Perform other HR and administrative responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong HR operations skills, including recruitment support, onboarding, HR documentation, and employee records management.
- Experience in office administration, facilities management, vendor coordination, and implementation of workplace policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and best practices in HR and administrative processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS or other HR software tools for data management and reporting.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR certifications are an advantage.
- Previous experience in an HR and administration role, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Education
. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Commerce or a related discipline.
. MBA/PGDM in HR will be an added advantage.
Experience
. 3–5 years of relevant experience in HR Operations and Administration.
. Experience in technology, engineering or startup environment will be preferred.
Specific Skills & Competencies
Must have
. Good understanding of HR operations and employee lifecycle processes.
· Hands-on experience with HRMS (Zoho People or similar platforms).
· Experience coordinating recruitment, onboarding and BGV processes.
· Strong organisational and documentation skills.
· Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
Desirable
. Experience working in a technology or startup environment.
· Knowledge of labour law compliance and statutory documentation.
· Exposure to employee engagement initiatives.
· Experience coordinating office administration and vendor management.
· Familiarity with payroll inputs and HR analytics.
· Ability to support HR process improvement initiatives.
