Job Purpose
Participates in the development and implementation of global Quality programs and initiatives. Conducts Quality audits and surveillance activities across global processes and project delivery operations to ensure compliance with the Worley Management System and ISO 9001 requirements.
Responsibilities
- Quality Audits/Assessments — Plan, conduct, and report on Quality audits, assessments, and surveillance activities, and monitor corrective action closure.
- Quality Assurance — Support Quality Assurance planning, root cause analysis (RCA), learning materials, and Quality awareness activities.
- Quality Improvement Initiatives — Contribute to global/regional Quality improvement initiatives, KPIs, and strategic Quality programs.
- Reporting & Dashboards — Prepare Quality reports and dashboards, and facilitate performance discussions.
Functions
Quality Audits/Assessments
- Conduct Quality audits/assessments and surveillance activities to evaluate the conformity and effectiveness of project delivery and non-project processes against Worley standards and requirements.
- Prepare audit/assessment and surveillance reports, and communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
- Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions and monitor their timely implementation and closure.
- Develop risk-based assessment and surveillance plans, checklists, and questionnaires.
- Support the planning and coordination of ISO 9001 surveillance and recertification audits, and ensure effective closure of corrective actions.
Quality Assurance
- Work closely with global Quality teams to support the development of Quality Assurance planning.
- Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for project and non-project related Quality events and non-conformances.
- Coordinate the development of Quality learning modules and materials.
- Co-lead/participate in periodic global Quality awareness activities, such as Quality Weeks and Quality campaigns.
- Provide advice and information on Quality Assurance matters.
Quality Improvement Initiatives
- Participate in global and regional Quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of Quality processes and procedures.
- Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of Quality KPIs.
- Contribute to Worley's strategic Quality initiatives across people, processes and systems, digital enablement, data and analytics, and Quality culture.
- Prepare periodic Quality reports highlighting key trends, performance against targets, root cause insights, and recommended actions.
- Facilitate discussions to drive understanding of Quality performance and improvement actions.
What you will bring
Mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or Business.
- 10+ years' experience in project Quality management, with industry exposure in Engineering, Procurement, or Construction Management (EPCM environment).
- Experience in Auditing (IRCA ISO 9001 Lead Auditor).
Ideal
- Good understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Working knowledge of problem-solving and root cause analysis (RCA) tools.
- Experience with Quality measurement and performance data analysis.
- Risk management knowledge and understanding of a Quality risk-based approach.
