Financial Accountant

Our client, a leading international food manufacturer are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their Finance team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced FMCG environment where you'll play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and continuous process improvement.

With offices in Dublin West, they are operating with a hybrid working model (2-3 days onsite) and would be offering a competitive salary, bonus, pension etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage accruals, prepayments, intercompany reconciliations, and capital expenditure controls.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and support the annual audit process.
• Assist with budgeting, revenue compliance, and statutoracy returns.
• Provide support across the wider Finance team, including payroll.
• Drive process improvements and contribute to ad hoc finance projects.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• 2-5+ years' experience within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using an integrated ERP system (IFS experience is advantageous).
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
