Labor & Employment Attorney

Pay: $110,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year

Location:
Lake Success, New York. This is a full-time, on-site position offering close collaboration with experienced attorneys and a team-oriented office environment.

Note:
Applicants must be admitted to the New York Bar and have at least 1 year of experience handling either labor & employment litigation or commercial litigation.

Job Description

• Represent employers in labor and employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy.
• Participate in depositions, court appearances, mediations, and hearings.
• Manage discovery, including document review and witness preparation.
• Counsel clients on employment law issues and risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with attorneys across the firm on complex litigation matters.
• Maintain strong client relationships while delivering practical legal solutions.

Qualifications

• Active New York Bar license.
• 1+ year of labor & employment litigation or commercial litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting motions and managing litigation matters.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
