Responsibilities
- Cross team collaboration, predominantly within electronics, mechanical design & software departments.
- Participating in daily Scrum stand-ups.
- Conducting sprint planning & review, priority management & Agile retrospectives.
- Creation of firmware for new and existing products, writing efficient, high-quality, maintainable code and conducting code review.
- Driving product development from concept & deployment to future maintenance.
- Collaborating internally and externally, to facilitate efficient project delivery.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in Embedded / Firmware (C and C++).
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
- Embedded system architecture design, implementation & maintenance.
- Solution finding using advanced robotic systems and working on complex projects.
- Network Interface - SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232, RS485, Ethernet CAN-bus.
- Understanding of electronic PCB.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality products.
- Bare metal real-time, and/or Real-time operating systems (RTOS) experience .
- Interest in low level Motor Control / PID.
- Eagerness to continually learn and improve.
- Able to clearly articulate ideas and engage in open-minded discussions, fostering transparency and a culture of collaboration.
- Can explain technical concepts in a way that is easily understood by non-technical individuals.
- You think outside the box and are excellent at finding solutions to complex problems.
- A strong focus on quality and adherence to best practice, delivering robust and reliable solutions.
- Ability to effectively prioritise tasks and manage demanding workloads proficiently.

Interview Process
Interviews at Mo-Sys are quite informal and conversational, generally carried out over a three stage process. To help us learn more about your workplace behaviours and preferences, you will also be invited to complete a short Predictive Index (PI) Behavioural and Cognitive Assessment. Depending on the position, you may also be required to undertake a technical assessment.
The final stage normally involves meeting with senior members of the management team in our office in North Greenwich, London.
