Lantrak is one of Australia's leading providers of integrated material supply, material disposal, truck hire and plant hire solutions. We partner with Tier 1 contractors to deliver some of Australia's largest infrastructure and civil construction projects, providing innovative and reliable solutions across road, rail, airports, tunnels and major urban developments.

As our Queensland business continues to grow, we're looking for two motivated Sales Support Representatives to join our team.

About the Role

This is more than a traditional internal sales role. Working closely with our Territory Representatives, you'll play a key role in identifying new opportunities, promoting available materials, supporting customers and helping grow Lantrak's materials business.

While you'll spend much of your time working from our Yatala office, you'll also have the opportunity to get out into the field, meet customers, visit project sites and develop an understanding of the materials and projects that drive our business.

This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, has a commercial mindset and wants to develop a long-term career in the civil construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Sales Team by identifying and generating new business opportunities.

Build relationships with customers across the civil construction, earthmoving and development sectors.

Promote Lantrak's material supply, disposal and logistics solutions.

Prepare and follow up quotations while maintaining accurate CRM records.

Work with Territory Representatives to market available materials and disposal opportunities.

Assist with digital marketing campaigns and online promotion of available materials.

Source new opportunities through customer enquiries, industry networks and outbound business development.

Monitor market activity, customer trends and competitor movements.

Spend time visiting customers and project sites to strengthen relationships and develop industry knowledge.

Deliver exceptional customer service while identifying opportunities to maximise value for our clients.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys talking to people, solving problems and building long-term relationships.

You'll ideally bring:

Previous experience in sales, customer service, business development or account management.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

A current driver's licence.

Experience within civil construction, transport, quarrying, earthmoving or building materials will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Why Join Lantrak?

Join one of Australia's leading material management businesses.

Genuine career development opportunities within a growing national business.

Learn from experienced industry professionals.

Diverse role combining office-based sales support with time spent in the field.

Supportive team environment with ongoing training and development.

Work on some of Australia's largest infrastructure and civil construction projects.

If you're looking to build a career in sales within the civil construction industry, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply now and become part of the team helping shape the future of material management.
