About the Role
As a Member Service Officer, you’ll proudly provide a customer experience that is second to none where your role will be to promote, recommend and refer financial and insurance products to meet the needs of our Members. You willjoin our team in a permanent capacity, initially covering a parental leave position. You’ll start at our Adelaide Branch in the CBD with the possibility of moving to another Branch or Contact Centre in approximately six months as part of our planned team expansion.This role is perfect for someone who values stability and permanency but also enjoys variety and the chance to work across a growing organisation.
We’ll work closely with you to ensure any transition is smooth and supported.
We know that work/life balance is important, so this position has stable hours of Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.15pm with an hour lunch break.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide face-to-face customer service to Members in branch responding to a wide range of financial queries
- Promote, recommend and refer banking, lending and insurance solutions through consultative conversations
- Drive Member satisfaction by resolving enquiries accurately and efficiently
- Contribute to team sales KPIs and individual performance targets
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a seamless Member experience
Skills & Experience
- Cash handling and customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated to meet and exceed sales and service KPIs
- Strong attention to detail with ability to build genuine Member relationships
- Natural team player wanting to be part of an energetic group
- No specific banking experience is required — full on-the-job training provided although if you have a background in financial services, health insurance, or general insurance that's even better.
