Adept Diesel Repairs is looking for an enthusiastic Administration & Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to build your career in the heavy road transport industry while gaining hands-on experience across marketing, administration, and business operations.
About Us
Established in 2022, Adept Diesel Repairs is a specialist truck repair and maintenance workshop based in Maddington, Western Australia. We focus on servicing and repairing Kenworth and DAF trucks and have built a strong reputation for quality workmanship and a trustworthy reliable service.
Our close-knit team currently consists of seven Heavy Diesel Mechanics and one Workshop Administrator. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated individual to support our office operations and help strengthen our marketing presence.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role combines marketing, administration, and general business support. You'll receive on-the-job training and mentoring, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and grow alongside a fast-paced, expanding business.
No two days will be the same, and you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact while working with a dedicated and supportive team of professionals.
Position Details
- Location: Maddington, WA
- Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time
- Schedule: 5 days per week (hours negotiable)
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging social media content
- Manage and update website content
- Assist with internal communications and business branding initiatives
- Support accounting functions, including invoicing and financial reporting
- Prepare and maintain service records, reports, and other business documentation
- Provide day-to-day administrative support, including completing forms, attending the post office, collecting parts, and assisting with general business requirements
About You
We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to learn. You will ideally have:
- Experience in a marketing role, preferably within the automotive industry or a dealership environment
- Recently completed, or be nearing completion of, a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
- Experience using Microsoft Office, Canva, and social media platforms
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A creative eye with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team
- A current driver's licence
